What Should We Prepare Before a Press Installation?

Good site preparation reduces installation time and helps the press reach production sooner. The exact requirements depend on the model and configuration, and should be confirmed with our engineers before delivery.
Typical preparation items include the required power supply and capacity, floor loading and levelness, clearance around the press for operation and maintenance, and compressed air where required. The operating environment should also be considered: production presses are usually specified for 22-28°C and 40-70% relative humidity.
Paper and ink storage should be planned at the same time. Paper rolls need dry, stable storage, and ink should be kept within the supplier's recommended temperature range. A clear route for roll handling and finished output also helps daily operation.
Before installation, we recommend agreeing the layout, utilities and acceptance test plan with the service team so that the commissioning phase can run without avoidable delays.
