What Paper Weights and Media Types Can the Presses Handle?

The supported media range depends on the press model. The 880 Series handles offset paper, writing paper, digital paper and newsprint from 70 to 160 gsm. The P18 and PM440 handle the same paper types from 45 to 160 gsm.
Web width also varies. The 880 Series accepts webs up to 880 mm, while the P18 and PM440 use a 460 mm web with a 436 mm imaging width and an optional 469 mm width.
Within these ranges, print quality and runnability depend on the paper surface, ink absorption and finishing requirements. We recommend testing the actual paper and job file before a production run, especially for very light or heavily coated stocks.
