Injet Digital Highlights the 880 Series for Short-Run Book Production

Injet Digital is highlighting the 880 Series roll-to-roll digital inkjet press for printers moving short-run books, newspapers and commercial work from offset to digital production.

The series prints on webs up to 880 mm wide, with an imaging width of up to 871 mm depending on the model. It supports single-black and full-color configurations, 1200 dpi industrial printheads and speeds up to 200 m/min in high-speed mode.

For book producers, the key advantage is the ability to print a complete title without plate changes or a minimum run length. Front-to-back registration of ±0.2 mm keeps duplex pages aligned, while pigment ink and IR + hot-air drying support offset, writing, digital and newsprint papers from 70 to 160 gsm.

Cluster printing and ERP integration allow several presses to be managed as one production resource. The 880 Series is available in configurations for text-heavy black-only work as well as full-color covers and illustrated pages.
