Short-Run Booklets and Manuals on the 880 Series

A commercial printing company uses the 880 Series to produce booklets, instruction manuals and variable-data documents in short runs, alongside its existing offset work.

The 880 mm roll-to-roll platform prints duplex with front-to-back registration of ±0.2 mm at speeds up to 200 m/min in high-speed mode. It handles offset paper, writing paper, digital paper and newsprint from 70 to 160 gsm.

Digital production removes plate making and allows each job to change without a new set-up. The printer can combine titles with different page counts in a single shift, add versioned or personalized pages, and reprint small quantities when stock runs low.
