Which Spare Parts and Consumables Should We Keep in Stock?

The right spare-parts stock depends on production volume, the number of presses and the distance to service support. A practical plan usually starts with the items that are replaced most often.
Consumables typically include ink, cleaning fluid, wiper blades, capping components and filters. These items are used in daily and weekly maintenance and should be kept at a level that covers normal production and delivery lead time.
Critical spare parts may include a printhead module, ink supply components and sensors. Keeping one critical module on site can shorten downtime, but the decision should be based on the cost of downtime and the service response time.
We recommend reviewing consumption history with the service team after the first few months of production and adjusting the stock plan as the job mix becomes clear.
