Operator Training: What New Press Teams Learn Before Production

A new digital press reaches its production target only when the operating team is comfortable with daily routines. Injet Digital's installation training is structured around the tasks operators perform on every shift.
The first sessions cover safe start-up and shutdown, ink supply checks, paper loading and web threading. Operators then move to job setup, including file preparation, print mode selection, registration and color checks.
Printhead care is a core part of the program: daily cleaning, nozzle checks, capping and the signs that indicate a maintenance action is needed. Basic fault diagnosis helps the team distinguish a printhead issue from a data, ink or paper problem before calling for support.
Training continues after the press enters production. Remote sessions and refresher visits can be arranged when new operators join or when a new paper, format or job type is introduced.
